Providence Health Plan – Behavioral Health Network Transition
Effective July 1, 2026, Carelon Behavioral Health will no longer provide Providence Health Plan members access to behavioral health services. Ongoing access to these services following this change will transition directly to us, Providence Health Plan, and our network partners.
What you need to know:
- Effective July 1, 2026: Providers contracted directly with Providence Health Plan or participating in Cigna’s PPO Network, First Choice Health Network or First Choice will remain in‑network, and covered services may continue without interruption.
- Members whose providers are now out‑of‑network will receive a letter with transition‑of‑care support.
- Members will receive new ID cards by July 1, reflecting updated claims submission addresses based on their plan and network.
- This change will also be communicated directly to patients with their new ID cards.
For questions about continuing care, network participation, or billing during this transition, contact us at 800‑878‑4445, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific Time).

Providence Health Plan will transition to the Availity Essentials SSO effective 12/31/24. You will need to have an Availity Essentials account to continue to access ProvLink after this date. If you do not have an Availity account, you can begin the sign-up process here. Your experience in ProvLink - including the site's functions and features - will go unchanged through 2025, as we prepare a full transition to Availity Essentials.
Are you brand new to Availity Essentials?
The first step to getting started with Availity Essentials is to designate an Availity Essentials Administrator for your organization.
