Vaccine Coverage Update: What Providence Health Plan Members Need to Know
22 September 2025
At Providence Health Plan, we understand that recent conversations around vaccine access may have raised questions. We want to be clear: our commitment to your health and well-being remains unchanged.
Vaccines are covered at no cost to you
Providence Health Plan is committed to providing access to evidence based vaccines to our members, this includes the 2025-2026 COVID-19 and influenza vaccines. These vaccines will be covered with no cost-sharing for members through the end of 2026.
Our coverage decisions are based on rigorous scientific and clinical review. We continually evaluate multiple sources of data to ensure our members have access to safe, effective, and timely preventive care.
Where to get vaccinated
You can get vaccinated at your doctor’s office or medical clinic. In Oregon, members ages 7 and older can receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine and members 6 months and older can receive an influenza vaccine without a prescription at any pharmacy statewide.
To find a pharmacy near you that offers vaccinations, visit our pharmacy resources website and expand the Immunizations and Vaccines section. You’ll find detailed information to help you plan your visit.
Why this matters
Vaccines are one of the most effective tools we have to protect our communities. While federal and state laws continue to shape the healthcare landscape, Providence Health Plan’s approach to immunization coverage remains consistent: evidence-based, member-focused, and rooted in compassion.
If you have questions about your coverage or where to get vaccinated, we’re here to help. If you have questions, our dedicated customer service team would love to connect with you. To reach them, call 800-878-4445, TTY: 711, available Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Pacific Time.
